Data Deletion Policy and Instructions
This page explains what data TrackerAds keeps, how you can request its deletion, exactly what is erased and how long it takes. It applies whether you hold an account on the Service or authorized access from an advertising platform: Meta, Google Ads or X.
Last updated: September 25, 2026What this page covers
Akvertising, S.A. de C.V. operates TrackerAds (hereinafter, «the Platform»), a digital advertising analytics and reporting service. This page serves a double purpose: it is our data deletion policy and, at the same time, the data deletion instructions page required by the advertising platforms we integrate with.
It applies to anyone in any of the following situations:
- You hold, or held, a user account on the Platform.
- You authorized the Platform to read data from a Meta, Google Ads or X advertising account.
- You belong to a workspace your organization created inside the Platform.
- You received reports generated by the Platform and want to know what data exists about your advertising account.
Data we store
These are the only groups of data that exist on the Platform and that a deletion request affects:
| Data group | Specific content |
|---|---|
| User account | Name, email address, password stored as an irreversible hash, role and sign-up date. |
| Workspace | Organization name, logo, current plan and list of associated users. |
| Platform credentials | Meta, Google Ads and X access tokens, stored encrypted. They are never displayed in full in the interface. |
| Campaign data | Name, objective, status, dates, budget and currency of each synchronized campaign. |
| Aggregated metrics | Impressions, reach, clicks, engagement, spend and breakdowns by placement, age, gender, device and region. These are aggregate figures returned by the advertising platform; they contain no individual identities. |
| Technical records | Login verification codes (also hashed), synchronization timestamps and server error logs. |
The Platform does not collect profiles of the people who see the ads, contact lists, messages, private content from your personal accounts, or advertiser payment details.
How to request deletion
There are three equivalent routes. All of them produce a confirmation code you can use to track the request without logging in.
3.1 From this page
Fill in the form in section 14 with the email address of your account. This is the fastest route and the one we recommend.
3.2 From the advertising platform
Withdraw the permission granted to the Platform from Meta, Google or X. With Meta, that action automatically sends us a deletion order (section 4). With Google and X, revoking cuts off access, but to erase the history already synchronized you also need to submit the request form.
3.3 By email
Write to [email protected] from your registered address with the subject «Data deletion». We may request additional identity verification before executing the request, to prevent a third party from erasing data that is not theirs.
Deletion initiated from Meta
The Platform has a data deletion callback URL registered with Meta (/api/meta/data-deletion) and this same page as the data deletion instructions URL, as required by the Meta Platform Terms and the Developer Data Use Policy.
Steps to delete your data from Meta:
- 1.Log in to your Facebook account and open Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- 2.Select Apps and Websites.
- 3.Find TrackerAds in the list of authorized applications.
- 4.Click Remove and confirm the removal of the app and its data.
- 5.Meta sends us the signed order and we execute the deletion.
Technically, Meta sends that URL a request carrying a signed_request parameter. We verify its signature against our application secret before accepting the order: a request without a valid signature is rejected. We then return the tracking URL and a confirmation code to Meta, which Meta displays to the user. With that code you can check the status on the tracking page.
Data obtained from Google Ads
Access to Google Ads is granted through an OAuth token that we store encrypted. That token is used exclusively to read the performance of the campaigns in the account you authorized and to display it inside the Platform. We do not use it for advertising, remarketing or personalization, we do not sell or transfer that data, and no human reads it except for security reasons, legal obligation, or with your express authorization.
- Revoking access: remove the permission granted to the Platform in your Google account settings (section 11). Once revoked, the token stops working and we halt all synchronization.
- Erasing the history: revoking alone does not delete what has already been synchronized. Submit the request form so we erase the campaigns, metrics and breakdowns we downloaded.
- Token at rest: when the deletion is executed, the encrypted token is erased along with the rest of the advertising account record.
Data obtained from X
Access to X is limited to the declared and approved use case: reading the performance of the campaigns in the advertising account you authorized. We respect the actions you take on X: if your account becomes protected, is deactivated or is deleted, we withdraw the associated content.
When content ceases to be available on X, or when X or the account holder asks for its removal, we erase it from our systems within a maximum of 24 hours. To erase the complete history of synchronized metrics, submit the request form as well.
What exactly is deleted
When the request is executed we permanently delete:
- Your user account, its password and its role.
- The associated workspace, when it was self-created and has no other account holders.
- The connected advertising accounts and their encrypted access tokens.
- Synchronized campaigns together with all of their daily metrics, breakdowns and summaries.
- Reports and settings saved inside that workspace.
- Pending login verification codes.
Deletion is final: there is no trash bin and no recovery period. If you need to keep your reports, export them before submitting the request.
What we retain and why
After a deletion is executed only two things survive, and neither contains your metrics or your credentials:
| What we retain | Why | For how long |
|---|---|---|
| The record of the request itself: confirmation code, associated email, date and status. | So we can evidence to you and to the advertising platforms that the deletion was executed. | As long as needed to evidence compliance. |
| Data whose retention is imposed on us by a legal, tax or accounting obligation. | Regulatory compliance. It is not used for any other purpose. | The period set by the applicable rule. |
Encrypted backups are not edited individually: they rotate and are definitively overwritten within the following 90 days. During that interval the data is no longer accessible from the Platform.
Timeframes
| Type of request | Timeframe |
|---|---|
| Automatable request (self-service account with no other account holders). | Executed immediately. |
| Order received from Meta with a valid signature. | Recorded immediately and executed without undue delay. |
| Removal of X content at the request of X or the account holder. | Maximum 24 hours. |
| Request requiring manual review (managed workspaces, identity verification). | Maximum 30 calendar days from receipt. |
| Definitive overwrite in encrypted backups. | Up to 90 days. |
Managed workspaces
Some workspaces are not created by the end user but by Akvertising on behalf of a contracting organization. In those cases there are two distinct ownerships and the request is handled differently:
- Your personal user account is deleted whenever you ask for it.
- Data belonging to the contracting organization (campaigns, metrics, reports) is only deleted at that organization’s request, because it is their data, not yours.
- The request is placed in manual review and we inform you of the outcome within the timeframe stated in section 9.
If you are the contracting organization and want the entire workspace deleted, state so explicitly in the form or write to us from the administrative contact address.
Revoking access on the source platform
Revoking the permission immediately cuts off any future synchronization. It is a step separate from erasing the history, and you can do both.
| Platform | Where to revoke access |
|---|---|
| Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → select the application → Remove. |
| Google Ads | Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access → select the application → Remove access. |
| X | Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → Revoke app permissions. |
Inside the Platform you can also disconnect an advertising account from the connected accounts screen, without deleting your user.
Checking your request status
Every request generates a code in the format DEL-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. You can check its status at any time, without logging in, on the tracking page. Requests initiated from Meta receive that same code in the response Meta shows to the user. The possible statuses are pending (received, under review), completed (executed) and rejected (ownership could not be verified; we explain the reason by email).
